These terms apply to seats booked for Atelier Ea pop-up dinners through atelierea.com. Separate terms apply to private dining and catering; those are issued with each proposal.

What you are booking
A booking gives one named guest a seat at a specific Atelier Ea dinner, on the date and at the venue stated on the product page. It is not a voucher and is not valid on another date.
Menus are written close to the event and depend on what our growers, fishermen and foragers can supply. Dishes may change without notice. The character and number of courses will not be reduced.
Prices and payment
All prices are in Danish kroner and include Danish VAT. Payment is taken in full at the time of booking through Shopify Payments. Your booking is confirmed when you receive our confirmation email; that email is your ticket.
Wine and other drinks may be offered for purchase on the evening and are paid for separately unless stated otherwise.
No 14-day right of withdrawal
Under section 18(2)(12) of the Danish Consumer Contracts Act (forbrugeraftaleloven), services connected with leisure activities supplied on a specific date are exempt from the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. Because a seat is for a named date, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to these bookings.
Our own cancellation policy below is offered voluntarily and is more generous than the law requires.
If you need to cancel
More than 72 hours before the dinner: we refund the full amount less a handling fee of DKK 40 per seat. Email contact@atelierea.com.
Less than 72 hours before the dinner: by this point ingredients have been ordered and prepared specifically for the number of guests booked, and we are not able to offer a refund.
You are welcome to pass your seat to someone else at any time at no charge. Just tell us the new guest's name and any dietary requirements before the evening.
If we have to cancel
If we cancel a dinner for any reason, you will be refunded in full, including any handling fee. Where a dinner is postponed, you may either move your seat to the new date or take a full refund. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for your seat; we cannot reimburse travel, accommodation or other costs.
Allergies and dietary requirements
Please tell us about allergies, intolerances and dietary requirements at least 7 days before the dinner, by email. We will accommodate what we can, but our menus are fixed and built around specific ingredients; some requirements cannot be met, and we will tell you honestly and refund your seat in full if so.
We cook in a kitchen that handles fish, shellfish, dairy, gluten, nuts and eggs. We cannot guarantee the complete absence of any allergen.
On the evening
Our menus are served to the whole room at a set time. If you arrive late we will do our best, but we cannot hold or repeat courses that have already been served.
Guests must be 18 or over to be served alcohol.
We sometimes photograph our dinners for Atelier Ea's own use. If you would prefer not to appear, tell us on the evening and we will respect it.
Your personal data
We process your name, contact details and any dietary information solely to deliver your booking and to contact you about it. Details are set out in our privacy policy.
Complaints
If something is not right, please write to us first at contact@atelierea.com — we would much rather hear from you and put it right. If we cannot resolve it between us, you may bring the matter to Center for Klageløsning, Nævnenes Hus.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Danish law. They do not affect your mandatory rights as a consumer under Danish law.
Changes
We may amend these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your booking are those published at the time you booked.
